Friday, May 4th is ACES DAY (All Children Exercise Simultaneously)
Published: Mon, Apr 30, 2012, 06:57AM CDT

Friday, May 4th is ACES DAY (All Children Exercise Simultaneously), a Coppell ISD district-wide activity sponsored by the Student Health Advisory Committee. The idea of ACES is to inspire the students to get motivated about exercise and fitness by having all the kids in Coppell ISD exercise at the same time. It is fun to note that we will be part of a worldwide ACES day— kids around the world will be participating with their schools.

Here is a summary of the schedule for the activity on Friday, May 4th:

Between 9:05 and 9:10 all students, faculty and teachers will gather on the track behind the school near the bleachers.

At 9:15 the Coppell Firefighters will give a motivational minute on the lifelong importance of exercise and do a countdown 3-2-1 and students and staff will begin walking or jogging around the track.

We expect to conclude the walk / run at 9:30.
